A key function in finding data quickly in our dental software is by utilizing searching techniques.  Within our dental software you will see two fields on all list screens that will help you search.  The two fields are labeled Search by and Search.  An important step you must perform in order to achieve the best results is set the Search by field before you actually perform any search.  By doing this you are telling the system to search in a specific data table.  The search field dictates, to the program, which record to find.  There are sets of data tables in each screen that are used to search.  You will choose from this list of options and once you have selected your option, you may begin typing in the search field.
