A key function in finding data quickly in our dental software is by utilizing searching techniques.  Within our dental software you will see two fields on all list screens that will help you search.  The two fields are labeled Search by and Search.  An important step you must perform in order to achieve the best results is set the Search by field before you actually perform any search.  By doing this you are telling the system to search in a specific data table.  The search field dictates, to the program, which record to find.  There are sets of data tables in each screen that are used to search.  You will choose from this list of options and once you have selected your option, you may begin typing in the search field.

For your businesses protection we have available security in our dental software.  In today’s business environment you must take every step to insure protection of your patients’ data.  You will determine what security options are right for your office based on the number of open databases in your practice.  You must designate a security supervisor who will decide what levels of access need to be restricted in the program.  This person you designate, as the supervisor will hold be in control of the security and maintain unlimited access.  The supervisor will also give other members varying degrees of restricted access to the dental software program.
